High Performance and Fully Integrated PET/CT For Small Animal Imaging
The eXplore Vista PET/CT builds on the excellent sensitivity, spatial resolution and uniformity of the eXplore Vista PET by integrating it with a high performance CT scanner. With this breakthrough technology, academic and life science researchers can more precisely and confidently localize tumors, perform applications not possible with a standalone system, and greatly improve workflow and productivity.
The GE explore Vista PET/CT provides high sensitivity functional imaging along with anatomical images within a single instrument. Qualitative and quantitative PET studies allow for precise measurements of tracer uptake determined in standard uptake values (SUV). The 7cm bore is suitable for mice and rats up to 400g. Both static and dynamic studies are possible with time/uptake analysis. Currently, 18F-FDG and 124I are approved and available for use, but studies requiring other longer-lived positron emitters may be discussed.
Applications:
- Tumor Metabolism
- Cardiac fatty acid metabolism
- Cardiac imaging
