Research Areas
The members of the BRIC are involved in a number of research areas involving animal and human imaging including: animal models, instrumentation development, genomics, image informatics, systems modeling, clinical trials, imaging probe development, and image analysis.
BRIC members are dispersed throughout a number of UNC research centers, institutes, and laboratories including the following areas of excellence: Cancer Research, Cardiology Research, Genetics Research, Neurosciences Research, Inflammatory Disease Research, and The Particle Foundry. BRIC members are all involved in some aspect of biomedical imaging research correlating to one or more of the following BRIC research areas:
